Sigfred Storstrand’s review published on Letterboxd:
WALL-E is the best pixar movie ever made. No matter how good inside out, finding nemo or toy story is, this movie is as close to perfection as you can possibly come.
Love, solitude, loss, friendship, existensiality, environmentalism, consumerism, humanity. The list of themes this movie not only touches on, but showcases the shit out of is almost endless. How is it possible to make a movie this short, about this many things, while still managing to balance every single aspect so perfectly, ending up with a movie not only engaging as hell, but important as hell.
Moments like this is what i get after having almost a 10 year hiatus on everything animated.
