    ★★★

A realistic portrayal of every French girl puberty.

  • District B13

    District B13

    ★★½

A clichéd and poorly written story in service of great stunts, that are also wasted with bad editing and poorly framed shoots.

  • Possessor

    Possessor

    ★★★★

Possessor is what would you get if Christopher Nolan liked sex and gore, it’s a cool premise and well thought out, I kind wish the movie wasn’t so predictable, and the main protagonist is an awful person which will turn some people off. But Brandon Cronenberg can clearly fill his father big shoes, he has some cool and disturbing ideas and I’m hyped to see what he does next.

  • No Time to Die

    No Time to Die

    ★★★

    This movie is long!

I was very disappointed by the lack of action scenes, it’s a James Bond movie and there are like 15-20 minutes of action in this 163-minute movie, there are some cool stunts at the opening and a cool 1 minute one-take shootout at the end, but the rest is mostly forgettable.

Daniel Craing and Léa Seydoux are great as always and Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch are a good but very underutilized, yet the villain…

  • Halloween Kills

    Halloween Kills

    ★★★

If you hated that Jamie Lee Curtis just sits in a hospital bad for most of Halloween II (1981), oh boy, I have some bad news for you.

Halloween 2018 was great because they focused on building the characters and creating suspense, Halloween Kills just says fuck that! Let’s give them a bunch of kills and references to please the “reddit fans”.

The end result is not bad, yet it’s big a step down for the previous one, the character…

Why are we still here? Just to suffer?

  • Dollman vs. Demonic Toys

    Dollman vs. Demonic Toys

The climax of this movie is a baby doll trying to rape a shrunken woman.

    Charles Band you're wierd.

  • 3-Iron

    3-Iron

    ★★½

3-Iron is a romance drama where the 2 main protagonists have no dialogue, interesting concept but hard to pull it off. And while I appreciate the unusual gimmick, it just didnt work for me, because the lack of dialogue made me not care about the protagonists and with slow pacing on top of that, just made it for a tedious experience.

  • Inside

    Inside

    ★★★½

It starts very well, the first 40 minutes are extremely well paced, the soundtrack is annoyingly good and there is a great use of lighting to create tension.

But the gore is really what carries the next two acts, because after those very well built 40 minutes, characters just start to act in very stupid ways, that makes you want to scream to the tv: “why are you not screaming for help” “why are you not calling for backup?” “why…

    Free Guy

    ★★½

Another awful portrayal of gamers, not a single racial slur was said!

  • Eastern Promises

    Eastern Promises

    ★★★

Who would've ever thought that seeing Viggo Mortensen's dick and butthole would make a fight scene more intense.

  • The Fly

    The Fly

    ★★★½

“The Fly” may have some horrific scenes but it's not a horror movie, it's a character study, there is no heroes or villains, it's like watching somebody slowly dying from cancer, you just have to see them falling apart knowing that you can't change their fate, it's truly a sad experience.
