• Night on Earth

    Night on Earth

Very unique. Might be a “must watch”

I love how this move doesn’t have, or feel the need to have some overarching complexity of profoundness that needs to be explored. It’s just loosely connected stories of the experience that humans have, and how we all are experiencing this no matter what corner of the world we live in. The dialogue, acting and directing here is truly spectacular, and i love the recurring score.

  • Watermelon Man

    Watermelon Man

    Ehh I dont really know

This movie makes comments on thought provoking concepts, but it doesn’t really tackle anything or do anything very innovative, but at the time, it probably was. It’s not very smoothly directed, but tbf I think the clunkiness of it adds to the theme. The latter half of the movie is actually quite good, and the commentary on bigotry and hypocrisy is something that is still very true today. Some of the jokes were pretty funny…

  • The Seventh Seal

    The Seventh Seal

    It’s Bergman I guess

Only seen two films from the guy, but, just like Persona, there are many flashes of absolute brilliance and beauty, but ultimately it’s going to take a lot more watches to appreciate, or even “like” the film.

  • Do the Right Thing

    Do the Right Thing

One of the greatest movies of all time.

One of the greatest directing performances ever. The story is phenomenal. The spolight of the characters is amazing. I adore how this film feels like a play. I love how there are no concrete answers to the intriguing questions that are brought up. I love how varied this film is. I love this film.

  • Despicable Me

    Despicable Me

I cant believe this is the first time ever watched this movie…wow

It’s definitely one of the best family movies i’ve seen, at least recently. The story is very interesting and engaging, the characters are vibrant, there are decent values to learn from and it’s cute as heck. My only complaint is that the iLLumination animation is pretty bland, even bad at times. It looks like Youtube Flash animation with a slightly higher budget. This negates the cuteness at times.…

  • Batman

    This movie…kinda sucks, lol.

Not in a “worst-superhero-movie-of-all-time” way, but a “nothing-about-this-*****-movie-is-interesting-besides-Jack-Nickolson” type of way. Every time the Joker wasn’t on screen, this movie was a complete snooze fest. Ofc it’s not completely dog💩, but it pales in comparison to the latest two installments of the 2000s trilogy. Still better than Batman Begins though.

  • Spider-Man: No Way Home

    Spider-Man: No Way Home

Its always good for everyone when a superhero movie isn’t dog 💩.

It’s Not even close to being worthy of the “masterpiece” title that many people have given it, but it was definitely an entertaining and very watchable movie.

The story was pretty weak, but the characters were very interesting (besides Electro) and enjoyable to watch. The fan service could have felt like the director was beating you over the head with a hammer—and it was definitely over the top—but…

  • Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over

    Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over

Genuinely one of the best family movies I’ve ever seen. Wow

This is hands down one of the most creative and extravagant trilogies of all time, it’s just that unfortunately sometimes the storytelling is pretty lackluster and the pacing is legitimately bad. However in the 3rd movie Rodriguez learns from the sophomore slump, and delivers a encapsulating near-masterpiece  of a family film.

  • Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams

Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams

Probably even more creative than the first…

But the story just doesn’t hold up very well after the stellar first 20 minutes. The movie drags on a bit, and the pacing isn’t too great, but there are still some lusterful gems in stil very good family movie.

  • Disaster Movie

    Disaster Movie

A Genuine Masterpiece, true work of art.

Its hard to even call this a movie. I feel like the director just slopped together as much horse 💩 as possible with the skimpy budget he had. And somehow…it stuck. This is one of those movie where it’s so bad that it’s great. I love it so much.

  • Spy Kids

    Spy Kids

Its a really good family movie.

Its pretty funny, extremely creative, and encourages family values. Its a perfect family movie that doesn’t feel boring or recycled. Classic.

  • Superhero Movie

    Superhero Movie

I still dont know how people dont know how to manage their expectations before watching a film…

There’s literally NO POINT in watching this movie unless you want to experience cinematic junk food…unless you genuinely enjoy give out low ratings.

This movie (bar the potty humor) was legitimately funny at times and it came with a thick layer of nostalgia.
