    The one thing—other than its groovy poster—Brain of Blood has going for it, is its fun wrong-body-transplant-premise but for a shitty horror film, it takes a surprising amount of time for the setup. Not wasting much time, the way up to the body-swap is a pleasantly nasty operation-sequence and some hazy mood-setters. Kent Taylor as a modern mad-scientist is also a solid fit for this plot.
