BlacKkKlansman

BlacKkKlansman ★★★★

BlacKkKlansman tells the true story of an African-American police officer in the early 70's that tries to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan. This is the first Spike Lee movie I've seen and I enjoyed it a lot as I thought it was really well made. It had a very stylish direction that I appreciated, a good soundtrack that fit the environment of the movie and strong performances from John David Washington and Adam Driver. Also it's surprisingly funny at times, which you wouldn't expect due to the nature of the story but works because first it's comedy well written and delivered but also it rightfully ridicules the retarted mentality of the Ku Klux Klan members and other racist assholes. Really good movie.
