Will Remmers’s review published on Letterboxd:
Prison is bad! A few other mixed messages (the stuff about him becoming a “model citizen/member of society” is sticky as it’s very backhanded toward so many others, underlining that the institution believes there is such a thing as a “prisoner class”), but it did good for the world when it came out and I like that. Truly exciting to see all of the cops, the judges, the lawyers, the corrections officers, and his dumbass priest brother all be WRONG. There’s also his wrong wife and that bit is a drag on my goodwill, but it makes up for it with a powerfully subversive finish.
