The first time I watched this movie in sixth grade me and my friend tried to get them to turn it off because it was "inappropriate" ( the water cage scene scared Tf out of me so yeah that was a warrant to ruin it for everyone else I guess). The second time I watched it I absolutely fell in love with it. Cool magic tricks, illusions, plot twists, car chases, action scenes and quirky attractive characters? Sign me up. My relationship to this movie is surprisingly similar to that of a magic trick that used to wow me. When I was small, I fell for it, being amazed and in awe of every sequence. But going back to it, I see it for what it is, a stunt to make things seem cooler than they really are. It's not perfect, it's not extraordinary but hey, it's cute.
