    The Tender Bar

Not sure any actor has grown on me as much as Ben Affleck has in the past decade. He’s constantly giving great performances and rarely ever doing the same thing twice. Here he gives one of his most honest, personal and charming performances to date. The movie around him has its flaws but he makes every scene he’s in that much better and makes this so much more enjoyable than it would’ve been without him. Tye Sheridan also does a great job and I enjoyed how heartfelt and sweet the story was. Not bad at all.

    Don't Look Up

Loved the first half but the second half lost something for me and wasn’t nearly as funny or smart as it thinks it is. The cast really do make this  and seeing them all let loose and have fun was a real treat. Leonardo DiCaprio is definitely the best in the whole movie and gives another Oscar worthy performance while Jonah Hill and Meryl Streep are also quite funny. I wish I loved this as much as some but I certainly didn’t hate it like a lot of people are. It’s enjoyable, nothing more nothing less.

While "Rounders" thinks it's a lot better and way more clever than it actually is, it still makes for a really entertaining watch thanks to the strong performances from Matt Damon and Edward Norton, some well done poker sequences, and very good pacing. Really entertaining flick.

    Secret in Their Eyes

Boring, dumb, and derivative, "Secret in Their Eyes" is a huge disappointment that wastes it's talented cast on a thriller that fails to deliver any sort of tension or thrills. The twist is complete garbage.
