Ridiculously starry cast in which Tom Holland shines the brightest (and someone needs to compile a list for Netflix origin movies in which Pattinson is doing crazy accents), but the film lost me with it's overplotted, overstuffed muddle interwinding story about a group of religious nutcases. I get the film's commentary on corruption in religion and people taking themselves to extreme in the name of what they believe. I appreciate that but this felt hollow, dry, distant and unengaging. Not to mention that the narration after a while starting to feel annoying, and like an insult to audience's intelligence (we get what the hell is going on in the movie, we can figure it out ourselves, don't need you to tell us every single detail god damn it).
