I cried so much during this.
An epic like no other, Avengers: Endgame is an absolutely beautiful tribute to this universe that I’m so grateful to have grown up with. Not only did The Russo Brothers exceed my expectations, they really are some of the greatest Comic Book filmmakers ever. I’m so happy it took the risks it did, and yes, I genuinely do mean this, the finale action sequence might just be the greatest action sequence ever put to celluloid. I lost my mind during it, and the audience I had made it even better. Seriously, it’s absolutely insane and heart-pounding. The rest is an insanely melancholy story that’s very profound and sets up everything that happens nearly perfect. I’m so happy to say that they sticked the landing. While I’m excited for Spider-Man: Far from Home, and the upcoming Phase four films, saying goodbye to some of these characters was even more emotional than I imagined. I’m just so happy I had them as a key part of my childhood, and to see them be sent off like they are here was so overwhelming. Endgame truly is one of the greatest Comic Book films ever made. I cannot wait to see it again tonight.
I mean it, see it as soon as possible because I really don’t want more people getting spoiled. I know mostly everyone is going this weekend, but go as soon as possible. Also, the crowds make it worth seeing it as soon as possible, too. Even with how loud it was in IMAX, the crowd was just as loud. It was so amazing. These are memories I’ll hold close to my heart forever.
