The more I watch this masterpiece, the more I am marveled by its perfect blending of sadness and tenderness, comedy and tragedy.
And whoever criticizes Wes Anderson for being loyal to his own aesthetics and tricks doesn't quite understand how art works. First rule: respect an artist's particular language and way to express himself.
Second rule: if you're questioning an artist's repetitive use of a particular visual language, go back to the first rule.
Also: Ralph Fiennes is a living work of art and the world should be thankful for being bestowed by his mere existence.
