  • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

I keep hoping that the next MCU film will be the one to get the franchise back to speed. Unfortunately this isn't it. It is silly, patronizing and frankly quite boring.

I feel nothing for our protagonist at all and for a movie that is supposed to introduce us to him, this neither explains his powers or his character at all. Honestly the film isn't about Shang Chi at all. I like that Marvel is going for the whole woke…

  • Alone

The sound design was pretty good and sometimes the pictures were alright as well. The acting was fine and the there no jumpscares. Unfortunately the premise was a bit tame and you have seen every single scene from this film in other movies before.
It also has the same problem as every other cat and mouse thriller: how to prolongue the plot/chase for 90 minutes? Normaly you have a bad twist or a protagonist making stupid mistakes. While this movie…

  • Black Widow

    Black Widow

Utterly silly. I don't for a second believe the story about this russian pseudofamily as nobody in it acts as if it was real. The plot paces along extremely fast with no breathing room to develop the bond between the characters properly. The entire film is just one big silly comedy about goofy russian versions of existing characters.

Pair this with the fact that nobody needed a backstory on a character who is out of the franchise anyway. This film…

  • Jurassic World

    Jurassic World

"That original park was badass. They didn’t need all this genetic enhancement. They just had dinosaurs."

  • Thor: The Dark World

    Thor: The Dark World

I do enjoy returning to Asgard and seing more of the nine realms. I enjoy seing the bond between Loki and Frigga and espcially Frigga is just cool in this film.

Basicly everything about Jane Foster is horrible though. She accidentally stumbles upon the one wormhole that leads to the aether that makes her the Macguffin of the movie. Why? Just because.

She is also the center of a few too many nausiating love scenes with clichés like "I like…

  • Love, Death & Robots: Suits

    Love, Death & Robots: Suits

The weird lack of frames, the boring characters and the kinda lousy animation together with a plot that is almost identical to 'secret war' made this a real boring episode to watch and one I'm never gonna take time to give another shot.

  • Chaos Walking

    Chaos Walking

So many things wrong with this one so let's start with the good: Riddley and Holland are quite fine. Their characters are dull as hell with no emotional attachment or progression at all.
The constant shaky cam also makes the movie quite bad looking. The plot makes no damn sense. For a world where "nobody can keep secrets" because they think out loud there are some pretty big ones being kept...

The plot was generic and most of the characters and scenes were obsolete.

  • Zack Snyder's Justice League

    Zack Snyder's Justice League

"he's never fought us, not us united" - Bruce Vayne five minutes after fighting Steppenwolf united with his team

Holy smokes was this boring. Steppenwolf is made very unfrightening by being talked to like he was a child by Darkseid and his servants.
The flash is just as horrible as in the theatrical cut. Gal Gadot still couldn't act if her life depended on it and Ben Afflec looks more than ever like he wish he were elsewhere. I did…
