I am mind blown. I haven't seen any animated this good since I first watched Miyazaki's Spirited Away. This one had the same sense of wonder and childish almost unconditional happiness and love. The animation is beautiful and many of the scenes are drawn like they were not animated but filmed (a lot of timelapses).
Perhaps the only tiny downside to this movie is that unlike Spirited Away it is a bit complex, story wise. Also the third act might be a few minutes too long. Overall I am very much looking forward to rewatching this soon. If you haven't seen it yet, find somebody that you love or hold dear and watch it with them as soon as possible!
