Victor Kirksey-Brown’s review published on Letterboxd:
Michael Biehn's performance as Kyle Reese is pretty great. Especially during the interrogation scene.
Just when I got to the point of wanting more time with Sarah Connor, we get just that. Linda Hamilton plays Sarah so well. Feels like a near perfect pitch.
Arnold is also very believable as a cyborg. He's robotic in performance and movement, but awkward and random enough to have a flair of human.
The practical effects are so amazing, and I love the small scale feel. It added to the tension. Interested to finally see T-2. I'm skeptical that it'll really impress me more than this. I'm not in love, but it's very inspiring what they accomplished here.
Of what I've seen, this is my favorite James Cameron film.
