Toyiah’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not a good sequel at all and overall a really weak movie that’s simply a string of half-baked ideas tossed together. Like so many elements of today’s “woke” society, this movie exploits Blackness and social injustice for brownie points. No tension, no nuance, no depth, no pathos, no horror. It’s only creepy if you’re Trypophobic. I’m extremely disappointed and need to watch the original to wash this bland taste out of my mouth.
