"My memories swarm around me like confused flies" - Agnès Varda
Joseph Gordon-Levitt complaining about beautiful women parallel:
10 Things I Hate About You: "Just because you're beautiful doesn't mean you can treat people like they don't matter"
(500) Days of Summer: "Why is it that pretty girls think they can treat people like crap and get away with it?"

AHhhh, che bella :,) what a wonderful film!
While it is disappointing that Luca could only be queer-coded and the director, Enrico Casarosa, said that he merely wanted to explore the intimate bonds of childhood friendship throughout it, (unfortunately) if it was marketed as a queer pixar movie there are parents and entire countries who would prevent the film from being shown to children ):<
I absolutely loved watching this film. The fact that Italian phrases and words were scattered…
So clever! I love how Cronenberg subverts the idea that films actually immortalise moments in time (enabling us to develop a connection with places and actors we wouldn't have otherwise 'crossed' paths with in our lives) and capture artificial worlds that are forever suspended in a loop where time itself doesn't exist
If you ever forget quite how many fish are in the sea, honestly just watch Koyaanisqatsi!
I was initially disappointed when all of the people entered, but it's pretty beautiful once you remember that each and every person was having their own little thoughts with themselves and interactions with one another while this was being filmed
