Yeah yeah great film but i still don’t understand what the fuck happened with the ending. Was Peter Jackson taking the piss or something? It’s like 20 extra bloody minutes.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw

OK SO BASICALLY there’s this bit where Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Jason Statham are in a McLaren 720S chasing *cyborg* Idris Elba and Dwayne The Rock Johnson sticks his beautiful muscly hand out the window and grabs a fully grown man off a bike and then drops him before turning to Jason Statham and saying “do you wanna tell me what in the fresh turkey hell we’re dealing with here?” And that is why this is the best film ever made by a considerable margin. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

    Damn. This is a masterpiece.
    And it’s so refreshing.
the brimming culture of Rio de Janeiro is captured through beautifully unique cinematography. It’s so quick but still manages to tell you everything you need to know and so much more.
The way each part of the story is woven in with the rest is really an exemplar in screenwriting.
It’s not just action packed, it’s an injection of crack that lasts the whole runtime.
And even amongst all the action and suspense of the criminal underworld, it still manages to slow down enough to layout some really emotional and really thought provoking moments.

Great camerawork to explore the human-technology bond in an exciting way. That mixed with the editing makes action sequences great. Apart from that everything else is pretty bad, especially the script omg that was shit.

I really thought they pulled the classic “it was all a dream” year 6 creative writing trick at the end, i was gonna burst out laughing. But it didn’t and the endings actually really solid.

    Highlight: camera
