Loves DC comics
(what you're about to read is my longest review I've made)
(I also watched this movie right after finishing the Court of Owls and City of Owls comic in one session.)
This review comes straight from my heart because of how much I loved reading Court of Owls and City of Owls, and how much I hate and hate and despise this movie because of how much it disgraced that incredible comic. Every single aspect of the story of the…
No. All that would do is cause more hatred.
Princess mononoke is by far one of the greatest animated films I've seen if not the greatest. Ir surpasses Spirited Away in so many ways and it just surprised me by how good it was and how much I liked it.
All the characters were incredibly written, the animation was so beautiful, the score was perfect, the themes executed incredibly, and the characters/creature design was ON POINT.
This is definitely a film that will stick with me for years to come and I will most definitely be rewatching it.
Hatred only causes more hatred.
Donnie Darko is a film that transcends the cinematic medium, it is a film that gives you so much to think about and it just feels so satisfying. It left me speechless and to my thoughts when it ended and after thinking on it Donnie Darko is one of my favourite films of all time. The shots and the colours. The music and the atmosphere. The incredible writing and the perfect characters. It all just blends together so well that at the end you think back on the film and it just feels perfect.
I actually really enjoyed this and it wasn't that bad of a film. The acting is decent in some parts and some of the writing could be better but it's still a quite good end enjoyable film. So this film's budget and just amateur vibe in general can clearly be seen in it but it kinda gives it a charm and past the first 10 or so minutes it didn't really bother me that much. Also multiple moments in the…
Bone chilling. So atmospheric, the animation, the score, and the animation all added to the incredible and bone chilling atmosphere of it all. The atmosphere was done so well there were multiple scenes where I was completely still I could just feel my heartbeat. The film hit me so hard that when the credits rolled I just sat there staring at them not knowing what to think.
The writing was some of the most genius and greatest writing I've ever seen in a while. You have to watch this, it's just incredible and you can't fully understand the depths of this film until you've seen it.
