Alexei Toliopoulos’s review published on Letterboxd:
The strongest element of this directorial debut is it is an incredible testament to casting elevating a film. Mulligan is as always just fantastic. But it is the supporting cast where this film achieves brilliance. A supporting ensemble almost completely cast with comedic actors that usually bring some sense of warmth, kindness, silliness, or most importantly low-status qualities allows expectations to be played with and also the actors to play around with their skill set in ways that feel so rewarding.
Plus, I liked the Stars are Blind needle drop a lot.
