josh rosenthal’s review published on Letterboxd:
a harrowing and heartbreaking first act sets the stage for what is easily the most beautiful and rewarding denouement of the year. stunning camerawork and performances all around, especially from Taylor Russell. was honestly shocked at how dark this gets, and how uplifting it gets in its second act. contains one of the best needle drops and subsequent cut to end credits of all time. this is one that will stick with me for a long time.
