I was a bit worried I wasn’t going to enjoy this because there was a man sitting next to me who didn’t stop chewing the same piece of gum for 90 minutes, but thankfully the wonderful score saved me.
This was the epitome of a slow burn horror, but I really liked it! Some excellent scares and a genuinely creepy vibe. It takes a lot to spook me but some of those scenes will stay with me tonight in my little swanky London Film Festival hotel room.
I felt very obliged to be at the world premiere of Shepherd and it was lovely to see the director and star for a Q&A afterwards. On the directors 40th birthday no less. Happy Birthday! 🥳
