Good lord, well, at least I'm done with this. Never coming back to this ever again. What a waste of my time. Yeah, I guess it is better than what we got before but that's not saying much. Of course with 4 hours you have better character development. The Shining miniseries was longer and had more time for character development but it was still a mess.
I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of Zack Snyder. The only film I enjoyed was the Dawn of the Dead remake. Haven't seen everything but the ones I did were meh or forgettable. So when I heard about this coming out, wasn't too excited.
So here we are....good lord I was bored too death. I watched most of the entire film with no emotion like the terminator. Too much CGI video game shit on the screen, horrible at times. CGI characters flying left and right, you get bored pretty easily. Give us some blood and bruises when they get hit or their eyeballs hanging out which reminds me of a story Max Landis mentioned about Superman and Wonder Woman getting into a fight and I think one of them gets their jaw broken and it looks bloody....fuck give me that.
The only parts I woke up a bit was Batman doing shit and a bit of Cyborg's character. None of the action scenes were fun and interesting well maybe except towards the end...I don't know maybe its because when Batman does shit I pay attention. Not the biggest Superman fan but when he showed up I got some enjoyment. Gal Gadot I'm sorry I don't get the praise, she does nothing for me. And Jason Mamma Mia was meh. With the Flash scene, I honestly thought they were gonna do a sex or dick joke with the hotdog.....what? Come on, I'm sure you were thinking it....
The Joker, meh. Jared Leto didnt impress me but eh.
I don't know, I guess I'm getting too tired of the superhero genre. I prefer Burton's Batman and Donner's Superman more. This will be short cause I'm exhausted from sitting through this overhyped cut. Well, at least the fans got what they wanted so that's cool. I want to see Jodorowsky's Dune, Burton's Superman or hell give us the uncut version of Freddy Got Fingered.
Overall, no but hey, you guys might enjoy it. I was bored. If someone came in between and said hey wanna watch Batman & Robin? I would have said yes. Just give me a Batman solo movie with Affleck. At least I'm curious about Pattinson's Batman.
I'm sure most of you enjoyed it. It just wasn't for me. One watch was enough. I rather watch the previous version. Yeah, its a mess but this took forever.
And please stop with the fucking slow motion, fucking hell.
