When a young woman(Marjorie Reynolds[GONE WITH THE WIND,MINISTRY OF FEAR]) becomes the latest victim of a serial train thief, she immediately recruits a railroad detective(John "Dusty" King[THREE SMART GIRLS,THE ROAD BACK]) to help her pursue after the thief and bring him to justice.

Under the skillfully helming hands of director Howard Bretherton(LADIEST HEY TALK ABOUT,THE MATCH KING) and the realm of the scriptwriting duo of Charles Williams(CARNIVAL STORY,HOLLYWOOD AND VINE) and Harrison Carter(THE FROZEN GHOST,CALLING ALL MARINES),MIDNIGHT LIMITED may be talky at times butt he colorful cast and their decent performances help enable the film to be a very watchable and intriguing feature.

This film plays like a John Carpenter…

Japanese genre cinema was an obvious major influence on this wild Chinese science fiction/horror outing that has Waise Lee(A BETTER TOMORROW[1986],BULLET IN THE HEAD) as a successful writer who gets caught up in the antics of a young lady(Gloria Yip[FLYING DAGGER,SAVIOR OF THE SOUL]) and her pet cat that are actually aliens that are out to stop an evil alien entity that has invasion on its mind. A popular title in the 90s video bootleg market that is largely overshadowed(and…
