No better movie to kick off my local theaters' annual Halloween FRIGHT NIGHT series of screenings. This movie is just perfect.

My new favorite movie trilogy (being only the smallest bit ironic, like maybe 85/15 s split there) ends with... the supernatural? Not what I saw coming, but I honestly won't complain at all. Shit was very fun. Vampires, some twists I has fun trying to predict during the tubi ad breaks, better attempts at emotional pathos, some bits of cheeky self-awareness, some good old fashion NOLA sights and sounds - this one has it all as far as I'm concerned. Not as good as the first perhaps, but more fun than the second I think.
Also, it's got vampires, so it's officially a Halloween movie now.
If you possess even the vaguest notion that you're a somewhat decent human, your best bet is to NOPE.avi.exe the fuck away from this thing.
But if you're some sorta degenerate, some sorta gutter rat who subsists solely on acts of cinematic self-flagellation, who isn't afraid of experiencing shit that's just unacceptably depraved, well, well well well, meet your new god.
