Everything I thought I had a problem with has kind of melted away and I actually think this movie balances everything really well. I think I wanted more and more. I wanted to see the excess, but I think the lean and clever route they took works extremely well. This is kind of a comfort movie now.

Broke out the VHS for this one on a cold, snowy winter night. The only thing that was missing was the J&B. This movie is PERFECTION. One I find myself returning to just about every year. This movie has a classic film structure in it's blood. Did I mention how fresh it feels though? Black boyfriend meets girlfriend's white parents and something isn't quite right. There's something unsettling…

Blockbuster action movies are not exactly my forte. I fall behind pretty quickly as far as keeping up with a particular series goes (You don’t even wanna know how far I’m behind on the MCU). Honestly, I don’t know why I ever doubt the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movies though (Knock on wood: FALLOUT). There is not one of these that I don’t like. ROGUE NATION was of course, a blast and a ton of fun! Simon Pegg gets to shiiiiiine on…
