I hadn’t seen this since I rented it from the video store as a kid. It was WAYYY wackier than I remembered. King wrote the screenplay and at times, it has a little bit of a CREEPSHOW vibe, but the segments aren’t quite as strong. There are plenty of chuckle-worthy King references in here. And like what was that goofy James Rebhorn smoking sequence? Also, The Police help Drew Barrymore kill a little troll? Wild, wild stuff. This one gets a head-shaking, big grin of approval from me.

James Wong jumped back in the director’s chair for this third chapter and it’s way more fun than it likely gets credit for. I thoroughly enjoy 1-3 and think that they have a lot of creative and gory death sequences, while providing plenty of spooky atmosphere and creepy shit to think about. FINAL DESTINATION 3 delivers!

What a wild ride! Jordan Peele's GET OUT is an edge-of-your-seat social-horror-thriller that had me pinned. Peele has done his homework and knows EXACTLY how to craft a thriller and build tension. The dude has said on multiple occasions how much he loves ROSEMARY'S BABY. Well, it shows! This movie has a classic film structure in it's blood. Did I mention how fresh it feels though? Black boyfriend meets girlfriend's white parents and something isn't quite right. There's something unsettling…

Blockbuster action movies are not exactly my forte. I fall behind pretty quickly as far as keeping up with a particular series goes (You don’t even wanna know how far I’m behind on the MCU). Honestly, I don’t know why I ever doubt the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movies though (Knock on wood: FALLOUT). There is not one of these that I don’t like. ROGUE NATION was of course, a blast and a ton of fun! Simon Pegg gets to shiiiiiine on…
