Looking back at how people thought (and still do in many ways) that if you played, wrote, directed or scored a movie a certain way numerous times, that was your identity.     An absolutely hypnotizing one-woman show with Pedro Almodóvar as our meticulous conductor. Watching the celestial Tilda confront, compartmentalize and cauterize an old toxic relationship was immensely cathartic.

    I'll always remember that damn commercial. The call to arms. The warcry to the skies that still reverberates today. It was coming to home consoles, rejoice. It was the hottest (and sweatiest) cabinet at the arcade. The place could be shutting down and turning the lights off, and we would still be huddled around the cabinet watching some fellas digitally ripping each others spines out.
