I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is in fact, Dune: Part One.

I've come this far with how many outrageous takes people say I have, so why stop now? I enjoyed this more than BR2049 on the simple fact that there's just a lot more to chew on here. The lore and worldbuilding could have so easily been dogshit and hard to follow but to the credit of Denis Villeneuve, I rarely if at allโ€ฆ

James Wan is the fucking GOAT, I've seen only two of his projects so far and every time my eyes are glued to the fucking screen. Fuck all of you, *this* is how you make a movie

I hate you letterboxd mother fuckers because no one knows how to enjoy movies anymore. I had a really good experience and found myself very invested into the plot and characters and found it surprisingly heartfelt. I have some issues, some GLARING issues (the egypt stuff is very awkward considering the context) but I can overlook it because the movie itself is nice.

It has literally been a decade since I really really liked a Pixar film but god damn, they did it. I don't know what I could add to the discussion, the message of it is really unique and spoke to me, it's just a gripping narrative overall.
