The Edgesitter’s review published on Letterboxd:
The only good video game movie ever made.
One of the extremely few good comic book movies ever made.
The analogy in this movie is just a tad more subtle than Snowpiercer, but much more convincing imo. Its maybe detrimental how much the film relies on the analogy to build the characters—so much has to be abstracted from it for the film to be convincing, and I can see why it doesn't work for everyone. Characters suffer for it.
For a film with such incredible editing during so many scenes, it really relies on convention in the scenes in-between.
