A movie about a literal serial killer committing his crimes is already bound to be stomach churning, but the camera work here is proof that placement and movement is just as important to conveying a mood as lighting or color grading. The unsettling, off-kilter camera work here makes you feel like your brain has been liquified and put into a cocktail shaker for an hour; and it makes everything feel so much more frantic and dangerous.
