    This movie constantly feels like it's dancing around its own premise, as if the filmmakers were embarrassed to have to tell the story they're telling. They deemphasize a lot of important and rich plot elements, and the scenes that could have been the most interesting and gripping are largely kept off-screen. It's very strange.

    This was a lot better, with a lot more depth to the characters, than I'd remembered. I laughed much longer and harder than I should have at a single throwaway gag, the part where the door knocks the chair out of the way, and awarded the movie an extra half star for that. It's generally light on gimmicks too, which is rare for a bunch-of-people-in-a-room movie.

    I hate this movie. It just hits every single wrong emotional chord with me possible, and I find every character deeply alienating. There aren't many movies that I find more repellant than this. It's just off-putting on a molecular level and I hope I never have to watch it again.
