    “House of Gucci”
The second Ridley Scott film of 2021.

Ridley Scott has good direction though I felt like it was lacking at points with Lady Gaga and Adam Driver giving good performances, while Pacino & Irons gave fine performances but they kept on switching out of their Italian accents a lot.  The film’s story I found very interesting while what really stole the show for me was the production design, costumes, make-up and the film’s score/music.

    The screenplay though wasn’t…

    “Spider-Man: No Way Home”
The big epic MCU Spider-Man film we’ve been waiting for!

The film was filled with a ton of heart and emotional weight to it, the emotions I felt were the emotions I was supposed to feel in Endgame. The use of nostalgia/fan service was used very well to help tell the story. The story shouldn’t of worked on paper, but it was one of the great EPIC Spider-Man stories we haven’t had in a while. It was cool how each of the new members of the new Ghostbusters team had a personality trait from the original Ghostbusters members. It was awesome seeing Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Sigourney Weaver reprise their roles. Though I do wish they all had a bigger roles (more on that later).…

    “West Side Story”
A remake that is equal/better than the original.

Steven Spielberg is and always will be a master at direction, the performances are excellent especially from its principal cast - Ansel Elgort, Rachel Zegler, Ariana DeBose, David Alvarez, Mike Faist and Rita Moreno. I do really like what they did with the Bernardo character in this film. With the original 1961 film, he sorta was just a hot head villain, you only really saw that antagonistic side of…
