Kyle Bruce’s review published on Letterboxd:
Carrie is probably the best Stephen King adaptation that I've seen. Brian De Palma is such an awesome director and Sissy Spacek's performance is one of the best I've ever seen in a horror film. There is a very small amount of jumpscares, instead the film relies on Carrie herself to just be terrifying and some very tense sequences, particularly the ones involving her mother.
There is a turning point in this movie that is just so so satisfying and entertaining. It's really fun to watch.
