Adam McKay's scathing satire Don't Look Up is a hilarious & sometimes very near the mark story of political power, media hype & devastation in times of impending tragedy. It has the biggest cast I've seen ages & everyone plays their part OTT. It's on Netflix soon if you can't get to the cinema to see it.

Baaaaaamazing! There is not one film this year that has the stark originality that Lamb has. You have to go into it blind but above all it's a story of family. Beautifully shot & so well acted by Noomi Rapace (who I managed to have a chat with) its gone into my top 3 of the year.

Originally saw this 3 years ago at London film festival. I remember then how tense this slow burn thriller about identity, family & repercussions was. I can safely say 3 years on, it's even better.

Ann Skelly is superb in the lead role & it's just a shame that it hasn't had a bigger release. One of my films of 2021.
