It takes patience to watch this silent exploration of space, form, light and colour in the shape of a New York hotel. However, it is rewarded with the discovery of wonder within our surroundings.
When looking at something for a while - especially when presented to us on purpose, with the intention of us looking at it - we can more easily see it for itself rather than it just being a meaningless speck flying past in our busy lives, and we can appreciate it for that.
Some parts of it I could do without but the tracks through an empty corridor with the light reflecting from the paint on the walls taking on an almost celestial quality... that is quite something.
