    had this on my watchlist before it had even played festivals because it’s directed by nabil, who’s usually pretty good when it comes to music videos, and also because i remember the headlines about vince staples being in it. this is shit. wastes some of the best young actors working with this absolute dogshit. travis scott is in this for some reason. i honestly can’t tell whether the director or the writer is at fault here either. there’s an obscenely stupid scene where one of the main guys imagines he’s gunning down a police helicopter with a skateboard.
