Wallllllllllllllllllllll-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Sorry had to do it.
One of the things that really peeked my interest in "Wall-E" was seeing the teaser trailer on how the story of "Wall-E" came to being. It was nice to know that ideas like this can just happen during a lunch and seeing people who love movies get together to create ideas was just nice to know.
Pixar took a big risk with "Wall-E" by not having that much go on within the first act. It is just Wall-E cleaning up Earth and then wanting to be together with EVE.
Yet in the end it all pays off with an environmental message and how no matter how many mistakes we make there is someone or something out there that can inspire us to try again and do better and that type of message is one I always enjoy hearing about.
