  • The Midnight Sky

    The Midnight Sky

The Midnight Sky is about a man left on earth after a global catastrophe who has to help a space station return to earth for some reason.

Acting along the board varies. George Clooney does a fine job, doesn’t have too much to work with but it’s always a pleasure seeing him work. Felicity Jones surprisingly does a horrendous job. Her dialogue is wooden and she’s an energetic black hole throughout the entire movie.

The movie is directed by George…

  • Bonnie and Clyde

    Bonnie and Clyde

Bonnie and Clyde is about the notorious couple who robbed and plundered the Southern part of the United States during the depression era.

Acting is pretty good. Not as good as some of the other films from this era but I have to applaud Faye Dunaway who does an amazing job as Bonnie. She brings an odd innocence to the role that may feel out of place but helps in gaining sympathies toward our protagonists. Warren Beaty is good. Not…

    Sound of Metal

Ruben at the end be like:

    Hearing is fucked

Sound of Metal was actually pretty good. It’s about a “heavy metal” drummer who ends up losing his hearing and how he copes with adapting to his new lifestyle.

I just wanna start before I get into the praises of this movie with expressing how much I fucking hate how Hollywood depicts metal/punk. Problems like this are present in Green Room as well but every…

  • Fargo

Fargo is a movie about crime and how it shouldn’t be committed, also there’s some message about appreciating your loved ones. The film claims to be based on a true story when that simply isn’t true and should’ve just been considered its own original story.

Just going to get into it, I don’t love this movie. I think it’s very well acted, the script is pretty airtight, the setting is unique Steve Buscemi, Frances McDormand and William H. Macy all…

  • Se7en

    Everything about Se7en is perfect.
There isn't one scene in the entire movie that feels out of place, there isn't one bad performance, there aren't any bland cliché's, loose ends or cheap thrills. The entire movie earns every ounce of suspense, every shocking moment and every moment of unpleasantness.

The atmosphere is miserable and sour befitting with the type of world that's illustrated by Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman's character. We never learn which city it's taken place in giving…

    I'm Thinking of Ending Things

“The movie is entirely tendentious. It’s all planned yet it isn’t thought out.”
-Jake’s schizophrenic vision of his ideal self

This is a movie for intellecutals. I am not one of those. I am just a dumb dumb normie watcher of movies. But I will say this with confidence, I am really sick of purely interpretational movies for MaH tHeMeS.

If you enjoy this movie then good on ya, there are a lot of things in this movie to praise…
