Rylan Repulsive’s review published on Letterboxd:
𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯 attempts quite the juggling act in terms of tone, and for the most part succeeds. Now, I wouldnt exactly say that the film "seemlessly" shifts between that of dead seriousness and outright comedy, however said shifting is consistent throughout and does indeed serve its purpose. If anything it is the outstanding performances - particularly by Carey Mulligan - that allows the film to be so many things at once, ultimately forming something that is just as funny as it is horrifying and just as entertaining as it is important. Taking everything into account I would say 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯 proves that vengeance is best served cold...and poignant.
