For some people the color change of leaves, pumpkin spiced everything and the crisp cool air are signifiers of fall. For me it is not truly fall until I watch at least one Nightmare on Elm Street and one Friday the 13th movie. Dream Master was my pick to reintroduce myself to the series and I loved it. It might not be as good as the first one but it certainly isn't as cheesy as I remembered it being either. Some of the kills looked better on VHS than they do on the remastered blu-ray. In my opinion, these movies benefited from grainy VHS. With that said, I can't deny how great it looked when Freddy reformed from the bones and ashes.
