I loved this movie as a teenager. The soundtrack, at the time, was perfect. I haven't seen it as a learned adult, with discerning taste and new reference points, but who cares. I liked it a lot at one point in life.
Van Morrison is so fucked up in this, worth it for that. Also, that whole 'cocaine in Neil Young's nose' thing. Apparently it cost tons of money to airbrush it out of the film. Unsure if it's true, but I'll keep telling people that when they mention The Last Waltz.
