Rich W’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not as rewatchable as I used to think. Pacino is good at many things, but playing Puerto Rican isn’t one of them. The accent was distracting. Miller was more annoying and naive than reasonable. Great performances from Penn and Leguizamo. Carlito had zero respect for the game and the younger generation and it came back to haunt him. This didn’t recreate the magic of Scarface, but was solid in its own way.
