I ask myself, what mood would I have to be in to enjoy this? Is there a mood to enjoy it? My current mood would be best described as 'lockdown malaise'. I think having a mental haze helped.
It's an atmospheric, unsettling film that is pregnant with mystery. It is overtly sexual in nature and covers themes of obsession.
I like the setting but it reminded me of staying on a static caravan park in Scarborough with an ex-girlfriend. Not sure which was the most nightmarish...
