I don't think I've ever seen a movie where Dean Martin plays a character whose primary characteristic isn't "drinks a lot." Kinda funny that there was a time when pop culture was so blasé about this!
Scattershot. This is basically three different stories stapled together, each with their own setting, theme, and narrative engine (the first movie took place in two different time periods, but the initial half-hour in 1985 really just serves to set up the rest -- all of the action and drama happens in 1955).
