    Halloween Kills

After three years and a long delay, I finally got to see this in Dolby and… long story short… I am in shock. I am broken. I wanna cry.

This film was. A lot to take in. What I surprisingly loved was how they incorporated the mob mentality aspect of the story and showed how flawed and dangerous it can be. The score was an absolute trip, and it may just be better than Halloween 2018.

    All in all, 106…

it’s always fun seeing my friends’ first reactions to this. also great refresher (as if I hadn’t seen this at least ten times) for halloween kills tonight!!! BRING IT ON!!!!!

  • Scream 4

    Scream 4

it's crazy that we're about to have five of these films, and how the three leads are in every one of them. so cool seeing sidney, gale, and dewey grow older and still kick so much ass, i'm hyped for the new trailer tomorrow

    I Am Here....Now

nothing like ending a production weekend with another entry in the NBU (neil breen universe)

but also what the fuck was this

  • No Time to Die

    No Time to Die

This theatre experience had the most absurd audience.

    - one guy wouldn’t stop watching tiktoks
    - someone wouldn’t turn off their fucking alarm
    - ppl kept walking in and out of the auditorium during the first act
    - best part: this entire row of middle-aged / old ladies were laughing their asses off at the jackass trailer and as soon as the movie started, they realized they were in the wrong theatre the whole time and so they awkwardly dipped not even 1 minute in

  • No Time to Die

    No Time to Die

Everyone in this film is just… so sexy?!

Forreal tho, I don’t think I was ever bored during this. It was so nice being in a theatre with a bunch of 007 die-hard fans (even tho I’m not necessarily one myself) and hearing them clap in excitement from the very first studio logo.

The production value is top notch, but it’s the more intimate story that really gets you hooked and interested in how they’re gonna tell (and eventually conclude)…

  • Halloween II

    Halloween II

Chase scene in this one > the chase scene in Halloween

    I said what I said

  • Leaving Las Vegas

    Leaving Las Vegas

I don't know if I started drinking 'cause my wife left me or my wife left me 'cause I started drinking.

leaving las vegas and alcoholism is like requiem for a dream and heroin addiction. both films left me in quite a depressed state. and idk if I’d want to watch this again in the near future. but i was hooked the entire way through.

  • Squid Game

    Squid Game

The ending made me wanna throw hands but everything leading up to it was phenomenal.

  • Midnight Mass

    Midnight Mass

    THE SCORE.
    THE CHARACTERS.
    THE SCARES.
    THE CINEMATOGRAPHY.
    THE MONOLOGUES!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite Mike Flanagan trope is making you scared in the first few episodes and then absolutely crushing your heart by the end of the season.
