Seeing the AMC logo appear with the message “Welcome back to the movies.” and everyone clapping during it, I shed many tears.
The film, on the other hand, twas good. Not my fave from him, but it was the energy of being back in a theatre that really made the experience enjoyable. JDW is fuckin perfect as The Protagonist. The score was electrifying. The inversion scenes are so well choreographed. Everything else was just. Good.
