Sometimes it's hard to watch these kind of films without a little bit of context of the era and conditions of when it was made. Found Man with a movie camera to be really something - it's the Russian Revolutionary dream sending a message of a better future... you know before Stalin really got a grip of the land. Made in the late 20's this film really is a technical marvel - it may be representing a day in the life of a Russian city despite being made over a period of 3 years and 3 different cities. It's the cinematic techniques that are incredible it breaks all the rules before they were set in concrete and the editing... also the music is impressive.
