The emptiness that comes with violence when not only seeking revenge, but trying to justify the emptiness behind ones hyper masculine actions. Death and despair as a false way to cope. Realizing that there is no sense of direction and victory when it is all said and done. Accepting that your wrath will only bring satisfaction in moment. I did not expect to dig this so much!! A unique type of character study that is self reflective of not only the genre and the characters within it, but also reflective of Richie’s career in an odd meta sense.
