I am obsessed. My third watch already. 😂
What I find so interest on this viewing is how I noticed how characters are rewarded for repressing emotions and for performing certain actions based on their identity. Characters who express vulnerability and satisfaction for performing outside of their expected norms are punished. How does one truly one up someone in the world? Is it sorely through profit? Or do they one up another by making lasting connections. Last connections that are perceived to be an illusion due to the dreamlike presentation of the film. McCabe and Mrs. Miller is such a fantastic movie.
Hellscape of money
Isolation now erased
