    So the plan to create evil Vision was called project cataract. Good Vision then uses his forehead laser (and logic) as LASIK surgery to correct his bad Vision problem. Genius.

    So precious it should be based on Push by Sapphire.

    Coming off Tales of Earthsea, this was refreshing. When Lisa takes Sosuke for ice cream to cheer him up after losing Ponyo, there’s a couple seconds spent on them walking to the car where Sosuke slows his pace and then realizes he’s falling behind and has to basically jog to keep up with his mother’s long steps. Another moment when Ponyo gives a cup to a mother holding a baby and the baby starts teething on the cup handle only to immediately fuss when it’s pulled away. The little details like that make all the difference.
